Sei 清 or “purity” refers to pure intention, but most importantly, the ability to treat oneself and others with a pure and open heart.
Tranquility
Jaku 寂 or "tranquility", the fourth principle, is a natural result of following the first three principles of harmony, respect and purity.

Through sharing tea within a space, with others or alone, one is surrounded by their environment. Harmony is cultivated when there is an extended relationship with nature. In this space we are free from desires to impress, compete and dominate, encouraging a state that transcends individual egos and roles.
MINDFULNESS COURSES
We honor the Divine nature of life, and one another as we come together to learn and practice. Despite any perceived differences such as race, religion, social status, or title we are equal to one another, and equal to everything around us. By being kind and humble towards those we share space with, we facilitate respect. This also extends towards utensils and objects, as they come from nature, and were shaped with the effort of human hands.
